Hahah yes

This made my day.

The “Brotherhood” is bullshit.

hatsandsnapple:

Straightedge is about subversion.

When you play into that brotherhood, macho, hypermasculine, “no-girls-allowed,” Slut-free bullshit, you’re playing directly into misogynistic, male-dominated system you claim to be fighting against.

Fuck you and get out of my scene.

Do you use caffeine?
Why or why not?

I would also really like an answer to this, if someone could oblige :)

I’m considering going edge, and I’d like to know if caffeine was a thing you guys thought was significant in that regard?

I think caffeine isn’t a drug that changes your state of mind, so it is okay?
and if you were to boycott caffeine  wouldn’t you also need to boycott sugar? sugar is VERY addictive! idk haha that’s just my opinion

I avoid sugar but I drink tea and coffee. Opinion alert: Sugar is a class A drug as far as I am concerned, and can be far more dangerous to one’s health and state of mind that caffeine.

I am vegan straight edge because I don’t know any better way to live my life. Its not a choice, its pure necessity.

Bold Native (2010): Charlie Cranehill, an animal liberator wanted for domestic terrorism, emerges from the underground to coordinate a nationwide action as his estranged CEO father tries to find him before the FBI does.
-IMDb

This is a really awesome movie that I wanted to post for a while but hadn’t really had the chance to. It’s (obviously) a fictional film about a guy and his travels as a member of the A.L.F. I seriously recommend this movie to everyone, not just Vegans. It’s a very strong a powerful movie throughout.
I watched this movie for the first time about 8 or 9 months ago through xTrueNaturex and have been addicted to it since. I’ve showed this film to numerous amounts of people, some Vegan and some opposed to extremist views and have never heard one bad thing about this. And a few even decided to turn Vegan because of it.
A lot of A.L.F. and Animal Rights films take a very hard approach and turn it into a PETA flick which can be very threatening to first time viewers. Yes, there are very graphic and REAL scenes in the film. Bold Native has a very personal approach to the subject of Animal Rights and why we do this, following three characters and their struggles and hardships.
This movie is free on the bold native website: http://boldnative.com/ or you can watch it here! (I will post the video below to make it a little easier BUT BE WARNED, THE YOUTUBE VERSION IS NOT HD but the version on the official site is)
It’s definitely a cuddle up movie so grab that significant other, make a bowl of kale chips and popped corn, some good Vegan beer or wine, and enjoy it.

Speaking of flax seeds…

…am I the only Vegan here that likes to eat them by the handful?
